Not a mile too soon my friend I hope I see you at the end of our time These words, unheard until now These colors that we make, they burst somehow Hand to cheek These thoughts pressing on me And I believe that I have always been in love With your type of poetry Walking for days Caught in your gaze is Exactly where I love to be Chorus: Nothing ever tasted so sweet Nothing ever meant as much to me as Breathing carelessly A night spent under the stars dancing close to where you are We sing from the top of our hearts And not a mile too soon Travel from here Go to there These feet will follow anywhere Keep the beat Desperately, these hands they desire to strum along (Chorus) Call it a thing Just let it swing Or just don't question what this means Stay inspired Never grow tired of the magic behind desire (Chorus)

Supreme Love 03:55
I've been craving you for days now I hope that you figured out How much I needed you And oh, I know it's been said, "Seek and ye shall find" So I did, and I found you Chorus: And breathing became a little easier And my head stopped spinning The moment I held you in my hands I knew I'd do all I can To keep holding you I would drive all night Just to be with you And I can live without you always around But my head is up in the clouds You are a constant in my mind (Chorus) Tell me not to(tell me not to) Not to love you(not to love you) And I can't change it(I can't change it) Even if you want me to Tell me not to(tell me not to) Not to see you(not to see you) And I'd still find you with my eyes closed (Chorus)
3.
Let Go 04:36
I've got stories to tell They're of gold Perception is not what you'd call normal I sit here and watch them all walk by They never listen close enough to hear me sigh I've held buttons, pins, and string My memory is never fading Oh I can live forever but not like this Chorus 1: Have they grown so out of touch That simple is not enough? Is my purpose just too complex to grasp? Have their ears become blind To stories of a different time that I have to show? Should I just let go? I've seen baby boys grow to men And men fall to dust And I've watched dust rise to take its claim on me But they didn't look And they didn't see (Chorus 1) Oh they should never fall to this trend But they do, they do Skills die over time So have mine Chorus 2: They've grown so out of touch That simple is not enough My purpose is just too complex to grasp Their ears are now blind To stories of a different time That I have to show I should just let go
4.
My Bluebird 05:07
I get a little too hard on myself When I don't know what comes next I bring on the thunder, the lightening and the rain Some things never change Pre-Chorus: I'm no weather man And I can't predict what I can't Don't you put that on me But I know this much is true Whatever the weather I'm here with you Chorus: Cause you're my bluebird You sing to me at night Bluebird, your song holds my heart tight When my soul reaches the depths You fly in to save the rest of me And the rain it'll never let up And neither will you (Pre-chorus) (Chorus) When a plane flies through a storm Persistently, like a captain You take the lead (Pre-Chorus) (Chorus)
5.
Hold This 04:25
Hold this Hold that I can't hold back Not when it's raining like this My spirit's shaking My heart is breaking But you won't see me fall down What is this music Oh I'm gonna lose it Get me out of this crowd Chorus: Screaming at their sideways glances Tripping in these ballroom dances Where is my mind? Getting grass stains on my knees And my hands too dirty Where do I go now? Dreams, wishful thinking Shipwrecks, on the shores of your heart Nonsensical, whimsical words From five-line poetry You say this is the best picture That we've ever written But I disagree fully Because I know From here to the ocean With every step Dreams become reality (Chorus) One time we sing to ourselves(4x) (Chorus) Outro: One time we sing to ourselves(4x)
6.
It seems that I'm the only one Left fighting this battle I stand alone, armed and confused as to Why they've backed out They're broken and bruised Oh but Chorus 1: They fought the good fight But now they've gone and left me To guard this pearl in plain sight and I don't know if I could do this alone Unless I know there's an angel Still with its wings Somewhere in this world I remember when you told me you gave up To a stranger, you gave your love I fell on my knees asking God why would He Let another angel fall from the sky Oh but Chorus 2: You fought the good fight But now you've gone and left me To guard this pearl in plain sight and I don't know if I could do this alone Unless I know there's an angel Still with its wings Somewhere in this world My ears are tired of hearing the same story You don't have to justify your actions for me Tainted is what you've turned out to be oh but That is not love and it's not the love for me Oh but (Chorus 2) Who told you that you were not worth the wait? You let the toxic in So now the pain begins And your comfort left your side Chorus 3: But I will fight the good fight And I will guard this pearl with all of my might Because I know that I'm strong enough to do this alone Because I feel there's an angel Still with its wings Somewhere in this world
7.
Doubts fill your mouth And I just don't feel like listening right now Breathe in and out You find your clarity on this broken bow We've helped you all this time But you can't seem to find the line Chorus: How many times do I have to tell you No lullaby is going to help you I would know I've sang them all before No bedtime story or foreign fable Is guaranteed to make you stable Quit trying to find your sanity in Childhood stories You pull the blankets Higher than they were ever meant to go You fear the monsters in your closet They're beating on the door And you know that they know The things that tear you down So you stay under your blankets hiding safe and sound (Chorus) I know this is where you feel safe But you can't stay here until the end of time Because the world, she's gonna end some day And don't you wanna say that you lived your life? (Chorus)
8.
Your well has run dry And your soul thirsts for the rain You've never felt so poured out You wonder when your thirst will be quenched Your grip on the ledge has never felt more tight Than it does now And you're torn between two parts of you And you're just about to let go Chorus 1: Just lose control so the father can catch you When you are falling deeper in love with The rain he can pour down on you There's so much freedom in falling So much shelter in the rain These are the blessings that God can pour down on you when you just get Out of the way You have a vision A heart for the distant A longing to show them what The Father has done for you You speak in stories of your olden days Well that's fine and good But God can move In the words that you don't have to say Chorus 2: Just lose control so The Father can catch them When they are falling deeper in love with The rain He can pour down on them There's so much freedom in falling So much shelter in the rain These are the blessings that God can pour down on them when you just get Out of the way Chorus 3: Just lose control so The Father can catch us When we are falling deeper in love with The rain he can pour down on On every generation There's so much freedom in falling So much shelter in His rain These are the blessings that God can pour down on us when we just get Out of the way
9.
Step into this fire Cause it's clear you love the flame Burning yourself again Why is it always the same? You climb the highest branch To take the hardest fall Why did you even let go? You act like you want to lose it all Chorus: You're living your life on the edge Like you always have a second chance But honey, you're on the path that Leads to your demise It only takes one step And both of your eyes closed To walk far away from All you've ever needed And all you've ever known (Chorus) Do you have no sense of sensibility? Were you really born that wild and free? Or are you running from someone Or something? Oh is the fact that you can't look back? Or face the one that hurt you the worst? Chorus 2: You're living your life on the edge like you always have a second chance But honey you're on the path that leads to your demise Because he's living his life on the edge Like you'll always give him a second chance Honey, he's on the path that leads to your demise

Take the breath from my lungs I don't need it anymore I only ever breathe for you You astound me Beautiful as you could be Radiant in the ways I know I'm not Without you Chorus: When I'm dry as a rock I will lie on the bottom of the river To let your water flow over I will not move Unless your currents push me to Where I need to be I will rest, I will rest in you I am broken That is all that's been said When I've been down on my knees I hear gnashing of teeth The enemy playing on my insecurities But these demons, they will not conquer me (Chorus) It's a choice to love It's a choice to raise your hands In praise to the God above In the sunshine and the storms I will choose to love you more Holy Spirit, My God, My King Chorus 2: Cause when I'm dry as a rock I lie on the bottom of the river And let your water flow over I do not move Unless your currents push me to Where I need to be I will rest, I will rest in you Oh God I will rest in you

about

This album is basically a compilation of works done over time. Some songs are sad, some happy, and one you might even find humorous if you knew the backstory. My goal for these songs as I wrote them was to achieve something relatable for anyone.
As far as the sound of it goes, I wanted something raw, warm and vintage; similar to that of an analog/tape sound... which is exactly what my producer achieved. In all songs(excluding the demos), there are doubled vocals. There are songs produced with a full band, and songs that are mainly focused on just my voice and the guitar.
I hope you enjoy listening to this album as much as I enjoyed creating it!

about

Raquelle Langlinais Tyler, Texas

In all honesty, I've been singing since I gained the ability to talk, if not before. Music has always been such a big part of my life by my own choice. Writing my own music started pretty heavily when I learned to play guitar at age 17.
My faith precedes everything, and always will. I hope all of you enjoy hearing my heart through my music.
